RACHNA GOSWAMI

Rachna Goswami, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of General Internal Medicine. She specializes in palliative care, which includes advance care planning and symptom management for patients with serious illness.

 

Dr. Goswami completed her medical degree at Northwestern University, where she also earned a master's degree in public health. She performed her residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and gained advanced training in hospice and palliative medicine through a fellowship at Duke University. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Goswami joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.

 

Dr. Goswami’s research interests include value-based healthcare delivery and improving the quality and equity of care for individuals with serious illnesses.
